

Howard Weinstein | Founding Principal
Howard Weinstein has been a leading figure in the Arizona land brokerage industry for more than 30 years. With extensive experience as a senior vice president homebuilding executive, Mr. Weinstein has acquired, entitled, and developed thousands of acres and residential lots, overseeing the construction of residential communities with an aggregate value exceeding $1 billion.
As one of Arizona’s foremost land brokers, Mr. Weinstein has facilitated brokerage transactions totaling more than $5 billion. He is the founder of The Land Agency, a leading land brokerage firm serving the acquisition and disposition requirements of major homebuilders, land developers, multifamily and industrial builders, investors, landowners, farmers, and lending institutions throughout the Phoenix MSA.
Through The Land Agency, Mr. Weinstein has represented and worked with many of the nation’s leading publicly traded and privately held homebuilders, multifamily developers, and industrial developers, including Meritage Homes, D.R. Horton, Richmond American Homes, KB Home, Lennar, Pulte, Mattamy Homes, K. Hovnanian Homes, Ryan Companies, The Opus Group, and Thompson Thrift, among others. Under his leadership, The Land Agency has established itself as one of Arizona’s most successful land brokerage firms.
Mr. Weinstein’s expertise in the Arizona real estate and housing markets has earned recognition from both local and national media. He has been featured in publications including The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, and the Business Journal, and contributes market insight to well-known real estate market reports produced by industry analyst Ivy Zelman. Mr. Weinstein has also been recognized multiple times by AZRE Magazine as one of the “Top 1,000 People to Know” in Arizona. In addition, he has participated as an expert panelist and guest speaker at prominent housing and real estate conferences.
Beyond The Land Agency, Mr. Weinstein was a general partner in a $50 million real estate private equity fund created in collaboration with Tricon Capital Group to acquire distressed single-family homes in select U.S. markets. The partnership was one of five local operating partnerships selected by Tricon to collaborate with experienced local operators in acquiring properties in markets characterized by high levels of distress and strong underlying fundamentals, with opportunities to purchase properties at prices significantly below replacement cost. The fund ultimately assembled a 400-home single-family rental portfolio in Phoenix and successfully met or exceeded its targeted financial returns.
Outside of real estate, Mr. Weinstein is an NPC athlete and a multiple-time first-place winner in Masters Bodybuilding and Classic Physique national qualifying competitions.
