Howard Weinstein

Founding Principal

Mr. Howard Weinstein has been a prominent leader in the Arizona residential land brokerage and homebuilding industry for the last 30 years. In his extensive experience as a homebuilding senior executive, Mr. Weinstein acquired, entitled, and developed thousands of acres and lots, while spearheading the construction of over $1 billion of single-family residential communities. During Mr. Weinstein’s more recent tenure as one of Arizona most recognized land brokers, he has collectively conducted brokerage transactions of more than $2 billion.

 

The Land Agency, which Mr. Weinstein founded, is a leading land brokerage agency serving the acquisition and disposition needs of the top homebuilders, developers, investors, landowners, farmers, and lending institutions operating in Arizona. Under the leadership of Mr. Weinstein, The Land Agency has grown to one of the most successful land brokerage agencies in Arizona.

Mr. Weinstein has been quoted in numerous local and national press articles, including the Wall Street Journal, the Economist, Arizona Big Media, and the Phoenix Business Journal. He is a contributor to the national well-known real estate market reports published by industry analyst, Ivy Zelman. Mr. Weinstein was recognized by the AZRE Magazine as one of the “Top 1,000 People to Know” in Arizona. Mr. Weinstein has also been an expert panelist and guest speaker for some of the most well-known housing market conferences.


Patty Lafferty

Principal & Designated Broker

Patricia (Patty) Lafferty is a Principal and Designated Broker for The Land Agency. As an industry leader, Patty focuses her land brokerage expertise on a variety of land uses within Arizona. Patty represents and serves many of America’s most prestigious landowners, public/private homebuilders, multifamily developers, and mixed-use/industrial developers.  Patty plays an integral role with respect to land acquisition and disposition for her clients’ requirements. Patty’s multi-decade career in the industry has led to brokering over one billion dollars in land transactions, while becoming one of the most recognized land brokers in the Arizona market.

In addition to being recognized by several media outlets as a top producer in land brokerage, Patty has been named as one of the most influential women in the industry. She has been quoted on numerous occasions in print media. Patty’s exceptional market knowledge has propelled her to being one of the most recognized names in the land business. 

On top of her achievements, Patty’s exceptional leadership and strong management skills at The Land Agency have resulted in the recruitment, training, and development of many young collegiate interns.

Patty is a 2005 graduate of the University of Arizona, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Regional Development and Geographical Information Systems.

Max Kuesel

Sales Associate

Max is a recent graduate of the University of Arizona, where he earned his degrees in Business Management and Entrepreneurship. He represented his alma mater by playing for the club golf team and maintaining membership in the fraternity Beta Theta Pi.

 

After his time at the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship, Max hopes to one day start his own business in the real estate and development industry. Max is excited to join The Land Agency team and is eager to bring strong communication and organizational skills to the company. Through the training, guidance, and expertise of his seasoned colleagues in the field, Max constantly refines his knowledge of market activity in the state of Arizona.

Connor peagler

Sales Associate

Born and raised in the Valley, Connor started as a researcher for The Land Agency after graduating from Brophy College Preparatory. He worked closely with GIS specialists to help build TLA’s current land database. Upon receiving his real estate license, Connor closed numerous developer and homebuilder deals throughout the valley before transitioning to brokering manufactured housing communities in Arizona. Connor’s ability to predict and react to market conditions, while taking advantage of the opportunities they present, is a rare skillset that contributes to his success in land brokerage.

 

After brokering over $100 million in manufactured housing communities, Connor took a brief hiatus to finish his degree at Arizona State University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2021. He plans to attend law school starting in the summer of 2022.
