Since our inception, The Land Agency strives to provide their clients with the most seamless, comprehensive land brokerage service.
Howard Weinstein has been a key figure in the transformation of the commercial and residential real estate industry in Arizona, having entitled and developed over 10,000 lots, spearheaded the construction of over $400 million of projects and conducted brokerage transactions in excess of $2 billion.
As part of his responsibilities with The Land Agency, Mr. Weinstein has represented many financial institutions, such as Bank of America, AM Trust Bank, M&T Bank, The FDIC, and Saybrook Capital, with respect to the REO disposition of thousands of residential lots and acres. Under the leadership of Mr. Weinstein, The Land Agency has grown to become one of the largest land brokerage firms, based on the number of residential land and lot transactions over the last 10 years. Mr. Weinstein was recognized as one of the “Top 1,000 People To Know” by the AZRE real estate industry magazine and has also been an expert panelist/guest speaker for some of the most well-known housing market conferences.
Patricia (Patty) Lafferty is a Principal with The Land Agency. As an industry leading land broker, Patty focuses her real estate expertise on residential land and lot transactions throughout the Phoenix MSA. Patty’s represents many of the largest U.S. public and private homebuilders and developers with respect to their land acquisition and disposition strategies. Patty’s 14 years of experience in the industry has led to over $400,000,000 in land and lot transactions in addition to the implementation of a land market research system designed to serve her clients.
Patty’s market knowledge depth and industry leading experience has propelled her to being one of the most active and recognized land brokers in Arizona. In addition to her homebuilder and developer expertise, Patty represents a wide range of landowners from institutional ownership groups to multi-generational family’s and farmers, guiding them through their long and short-term disposition land strategy’s.
Principal and Designated Broker
Brad joined The Land Agency in February 2010, previously working with the Land Advisors Organization. Brad comes from a third generation agricultural family. He was raised in Buckeye, AZ. Brad specializes in assisting clients who are looking for agricultural ground, or clients who are looking to relocate, liquidate, or cease their farming operations.Because of Brad’s background in agriculture he brings a unique perspective to The Land Agency as Arizona’s production agriculture continues to change due to development pressure and competition for Arizona’s natural resources.
Brad earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Dordt College in Sioux Center, IA, and received his Masters in Real Estate Development (MRED) from Arizona State University in 2009. Brad is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), United Dairymen of Arizona member, and is a Young Farmer and Rancher member with the Arizona Farm Bureau Federation.
After graduating from the University of Denver with a BSBA in Real Estate and Construction Management and an MS in Finance, Michael acquired his JD degree from the University’s Sturm College of Law, specializing in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law. While pursuing his education, Michael simultaneously nurtured his experience in land acquisition and development at Richmond American Homes, with a progressive career that resulted in Director of Land Acquisition, with over 10 years’ leading underwriting, sourcing and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, conducting due diligence activities, obtaining asset management approval, and/or closing land transactions valuing $500,000,000 over five geographical markets (Denver Metro Area, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Phoenix, and Southern California). Michael specializes in land and mobile home park transactions for The Land Agency.
